I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Camp Carmangay. I was drawn to this charity because of its unique approach to help youth discover positive options in life. It was developed and is run by Brian and Christine Nimijean, two individuals who passionately and enthusiastically introduce disadvantaged youth to a variety of activities, featuring horseback riding.

The cost free aspect of the camp allows youth who would typically fall thru the cracks, do to lack of financial resources, parental commitment or lack of community resources, experience a safe environment where they feel free to explore life around positive influences.

We are currently expanding the resources of the camp with the construction of a learning center. Youth will use this center to be introduced to life skills that will allow them to lead productive lives. Because we provide this experience to youth cost free, we depend on the contributions of money, gifts in kind and time to run this charity.
